Fake product launch video

This is a funny one in my opinion! I created this promotional video for the sake of doing more product oriented renders. I had already some months earlier started doing the model out of pure interest, since I love my Maschine+ (it’s a sampler, midi sequencer - I’ve had people call it many things, but this is what it is!)

When looking at the modelling job I’d done it was obvious that certain things were to be revised and my approach to shaders had also changed. Things like subsurface scattering isn’t a mystery to me anymore! In the end of the movie you’ll see lights flashing, which is actual lights lighting up as the pads/buttons gets pressed. These were hooked up via drivers and the pads were animated via actions.

For reference imagery, I used images from Thomann who sells music equipment and material from Native Instrument’s press kit.
